‘Raye’ being an out and proud ‘alien’, designing her was about confidence and power, while pulling on over the top shapes and very ‘space age’ colours, whereas ‘Nina’ is shy about her ‘half-alien’ nature, so a more ‘human’ outfit, with a softer, less imposing shape about her clothing makes her seem alien in ‘Raye’s’ apartment, until she takes off her hat…
