Wasabi
Alongside writing and co-directing this project, I also did animation, concept art and constructed sets and statues within my role as production designer.
As the point of this film is it’s chaotic, clashing worlds, each aspect required a different approach, ‘Gumshoe’ being inspired by 90’s kids cartoons, ‘Technoworld’ being inspired by odd video games, and things like ‘The Cannibals’ needing to be designed to an infrared LUT on camera, this project was very hectic creatively, but quite exciting really.
